Product Information
The book, edited by Nacho Alegre with an introduction by Oscar Tusquets and an afterword by Marc Arnal, explores the evolution of Mediterranean architecture in Cadaqués, a small fishing village on the Costa Brava, a meeting place for artists such as Dalí, Picasso, Miró and Duchamp. Inspired by Le Corbusier and thinkers such as Rudofsky and Sert, young architects found here the ideal context to experiment with new forms of living. The volume documents 22 houses designed by figures such as Coderch, Correa, Milà, Bombelli, Tusquets, Clotet and others, through period photographs that tell the unique style of Cadaqués.
