WOK x DR MARTENS
This editorial reimagines the figure of the Milanese bourgeois with a subtle touch of irony. It plays with traditional codes—not rejecting them, nor glorifying them, but gently subverting them with a knowing wink.
At the heart of this visual narrative lies a contradiction: the use of polished loafers, traditionally a symbol of composure and elegance, deliberately contrasted with the rest of the styling. These shoes thus become a stylistic statement—an unexpected rupture that invites reflection on how fashion codes are used, and broken.
Despite its ironic tone, the shoot retains the tougher, more classic spirit of the Dr. Martens universe: raw, urban, and subtly rebellious. The result is a project that feels both contemporary and grounded—irreverent, yet respectful.
