The ASICS GEL-Kayano12.1 represents a contemporary reimagining of the legendary 2006 GEL-Kayano12, the result of a collaboration with KITH. The design combines architectural and "metallic" details inspired by European Gothic armor with an open mesh upper for maximum breathability. The outsole is borrowed from the GEL-Nimbus17 model, known for its exceptional comfort during marathons, and is equipped with FLUIDRIDE™ technology and dual GEL® cushioning in the rearfoot and forefoot for excellent shock absorption.
