Veja x Magliano: Launch Party
VEJA collaborates with the Italian brand Magliano on a new interpretation of the Panenka.
Inspired by vintage football boots, this unisex shoe becomes a playing field for bold, unconventional tailoring.
Pushing the football aesthetic even further, the Panenka now features a folded tongue layered over the upper, recalling classic players’ boots. Crafted from a single piece, this perforated flap allows for asymmetric lacing.
Three pairs of laces, included with the shoes, create a graphic interplay of intertwined colors — a nod to Magliano’s signature contrasts.
A way to merge functionality and eccentricity, in a style that brings together sport and couture.

This new design is available in three colorways:
a deep black version with cream details,
a white edition with black contrasts,
and a bold pearly pink silhouette.
For this collaboration, VEJA gives space to the Magliano logo —
a way of honoring the identity of the Bologna-based brand,
while giving the Panenka an entirely new personality.
